As your host, Chef Jacquie introduces you to her hand-selected team of local guides – each one personally trained to share the flavors, stories, and welcoming spirit of South Philadelphia. Behind the scenes, our admin team is just as dedicated, thoughtfully coordinating every detail to ensure each guest feels cared for from booking to final bite.
Meet Our Food Tour Guides
Alma Tlacopilco
Alma is the youngest daughter of the Tlacopilco family, owners of Marco’s Fish & Crab House in Philadelphia’s Italian Market. Born and raised in the neighborhood and surrounded by the family food business, Alma brings a natural connection to the people and flavors that make the Italian Market special. She is part of the StrEATS of Philly Food Tours team and was personally trained by Chef Jacquie to guide guests through the market’s stories, traditions, and tastings.
Lynn Buono
Lynn, daughter of a butcher, brings a lifelong connection to food and hospitality. She is the retired Owner, Founder, and Chief Culinary Officer of Feast Your Eyes Catering, a Philadelphia institution she led for 43 years. Lynn works as a culinary educator and assists Chef Jacquie with large group tours, sharing her deep industry knowledge and passion for great food experiences.

Laura Buck, Guest Relations Specialist
Laura is the longest-standing member of the StrEATS of Philly team for 8+ years. She has worn almost every StrEATS hat, and now you’ll find her managing public food tour bookings, guest communication, and providing administrative support, working closely with Chef Jacquie to make sure every food tour is organized and welcoming for all of our guests. Originally from Scranton, growing up on a farm (still loving animals!) Laura has experience from trade-show organization to marketing and we must share, she does it all!

Casey Syvertsen, Group Sales Associate
Casey coordinates private group experiences alongside Chef Jacquie, bringing more than 15 years of hospitality and event sales experience to the table. She specializes in corporate outings, celebrations, and custom group events, making each Philadelphia food tour easy to plan and seamless to enjoy. After a decade in the Philly area, Casey combines local insight with hands-on planning experience, handling the details so you can focus on the experience.
